LAB ASSIGNMENT: PAN AND TILT

Create two different shots:

Pan: move the camera in one direction horizontally. It is important that all aspects of your shot are well-exposed, in focus, smooth. You must also reveal something at the end of the shot that was not present before the move.

Tilt: move the camera in one direction vertically. It is important that all aspects of your shot are well-exposed, in focus, smooth. You must also reveal something at the end of the shot that was not present before the move.

EDIT THEM TOGETHER IN PREMIERE
Using the same structure as the camera angles project:

  • 1 second
  • title: "pan,"
  • 1 second
  •   pan shot
  • 1 second
  • title: "tilt,"
  • 1 second
  • tilt shot

The shot does not have to be any particular length, just appropriate for the camera move. Hint: do not try to make your movements too long. Ex. a tilt from someone's feet to their head or a 360 degree pan.
