Film Cameras Consist of

  • Lens: Focuses the image onto the film plane
  • Shutter: The shutter spins and alternately opens light can pass 
  • Aperture Plate: Allows light to pass through to each individual film frame
  • Loop: Film is how the film is loaded into the camera
  • Pull Down Claw: The claw pulls down the film and lines it up with the aperture plate (one frame at a time)
  • Sprocket Wheel: Holds the film in place
